Lifebuoy was conceived when two experienced engineers, who happened to be married to each other, received a pool as a gift. The parents of three young children were delighted but also concerned. They were aware of the dangers of water accidents and wanted to be sure that their children would be safe. They researched the existing solutions but, not finding one that met all their stringent criteria, they set to work.

I’m so impressed with this pool alarm! I struggled a LITTLE bit getting both pieces to pair, but I’m fairly certain it was user error. It’s been in my pool since. I was worried about false alarms as I live on a little pond and the wind can kick around quite a bit but we haven’t had any issues!
We have had the LifeBuoy for about a year and never had a problem. Recently we noticed that buoy was not being triggered. We thought it was the battery but when we opened up the buoy to replace it, we noticed water inside the unit. We contacted customer support and they immediately sent us a new unit.
I love this pool alarm it gives me extra piece of mind . My son has ASD and loves the water but this alarm helps make sure he is always safe around our pool. It is easy to use and set up and if you have any questions with the home or pool unit their tech support is amazing and fast to respond. I wish I could give this 10 stars!
